Charitable Gift Giving

For the last few weeks, we’ve been highlighting great Olympics souvenirs where proceeds go to support the athletes of the US Olympic Team.

Can you believe the Olympics are already half over? It has certainly been an amazing week so far.

The USA Swimming Team has been nothing short of spectacular. Tonight, Michael Phelps accomplished an amazing feat when the 4×100 medley team won the gold medal, making a total of eight for him.

Our congratulations to Michael for this phenomenal and historic accomplishment. And as great an accomplishment this was, let’s not forget about the equally amazing accomplishments of the other members of USA Swimming who took home the gold, medal, and bronze this year.

Ryan Lochte, Garrett Weber-Gale, Cullen Jones, Jason Lezak, Nathan Adrian, Ben Wildman-Tobriner, Aaron Peirsol, Matt Grevers, Larsen Jensen, Peter Vanderkaay, Ricky Berens, Klete Keller, Erik Vendt, David Walters, Natalie Coughlin, Katie Hoff, Lacey Nymeyer, Kara Lynn Joyce, Dara Torres, Emily Silver, Julia Smit, Christine Magnuson, Margaret Hoelzer, Caroline Burckle, Allison Schmitt, Christine Marshall, Kim Vandenberg, and my personal hero, Rebecca Soni (who happens to be from my home town).

These men and women have done their country proud. And not only that, you can hear the voices of thousands of little boys and girls begging their moms and dads to get them swim gear and swimming lessons. What great role models for young Americans everywhere.
