LUSH Cosmetics is selling  Shark Fin Soap, these adorable bars of soap with a serious message: preventing the cruel practice of harvesting shark fins which leaves 95% of the animal intact but unable to swim. 100% of proceeds will go to Shark Savers, an organization devoted to protecting sharks.

These cute mittens and scarf from Kate Spade are kind of pricey, but when you consider that they were crafted in partnership with women in countries like Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that 100% of proceeds will go to lift up lives in those struggling areas, the price is worth it.

Caribou Coffee is a popular brand of coffee which uses top quality beans and is sourced responsibly. Amy Erickson was a Roastmaster at Caribou.

In 1995, at only 33 years of age, Amy passed away of breast cancer. The company launched a special blend of coffee and a related line of products to honor her, and to help raise money to end the scourge of breast cancer.

By visiting the Amy’s Blend Collection, you’ll find a lighter road of coffee (caffeinated and decaf), as well as a scarf, a mug, a basket, a tumbler, a water bottle, and a blend of tea. Ten percent of sales from these products goes to fight breast cancer.

On their Facebook page, they have “Amy’s National Garden of Hope”, where you can plant a virtual tulip to show your support. For every tulip and message posted, Caribou will plant a pink tulip in Brookside Gardens in Washington DC as a lasting tribute.

Rounding out our selection of gifts for Breast Cancer Month 2011, we have a beautiful set of pink roses.

Each year, 1-800-Flowers sells a different variation of The Pink Ribbon Bouquet where a portion of proceeds goes to The Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

This year, the bouquet is a great looking set of a dozen pink roses with greens of monte casino and variegated pittosporum. It comes in a white ceramic pitcher which is food-safe and reusable for serving drinks or storing kitchen supplies.

The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. It funds studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness about preventing, detecting, and treating breast cancer.

Each year, Sephora launches its Beauty with a Cause collection, where participating brands donate a portion of proceeds to organizations that raise awareness about breast cancer.

Chrome is a San Francisco company which was founded creating extremely durable and utilitarian messenger bags which have become popular for city living.

They recently added shoes to their cadre of products. One of their most popular shoes is the Kursk shoe, which like its bags has received rave reviews for its durability.

Since October 1, eBay has had a pink ribbon by their logo which links to a page that details their initiatives for supporting breast cancer charities, including a huge number of auctions going on now that benefit over 130 breast cancer charities, from  Susan G. Komen For the Cure to the American Cancer Society to BrightPink to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Look around at the tens of thousands of products up for auction, and chances are you’ll find something you’re looking for.

In addition, eBay is running a sweepstakes that runs until the end of the month. This October, for every Pink Sharpie that it sells, Sharpie will donate ten cents to City of Hope for Breast Cancer Research.

In addition, City of Hope announced they’re collaborating with Grace Potter and the Noctournals in fighting women’s cancers. Grace is taking the lead on the Sharpie Ink it Pink campaign, which allows for anyone to upload a “pink signature” to the Sharpie website.  For each signature Sharpie will donate $1 to City of Hope’s women’s cancer research and treatment center.
